Counted the way the invoices arrive, SiteGround takes $35.88 for the first year and $215.88 for every year after it — $899.40 by the end of year five; we take $249.50 over the same five years. Switch to us if
Your second-year invoice was the surprise, or you would rather know the price of year five today. Our cycles discount up to 30%, the figure never moves after, and the move is free.
Stay where you are if
You need a data centre in a particular city — SiteGround offers eleven on Google Cloud, we have three regions — or you want unlimited sites under $5 a month for one year and are happy to move again when it ends.
Moving is on us
Free on every plan, done by an engineer rather than handed to you as a tool, and with the old host left running until you have checked the new copy.

Is SiteGround cheaper?
For the first year, yes: StartUp is $35.88 for twelve months. From the second year it is $215.88 a year, and Shared Start costs less than that every year, renewals included.
Can you move my site off SiteGround?
Yes, free and with no limit on how many sites. Send us the login or a backup; we restore it here, you check it on a temporary address, and we switch the DNS when you say so. A site moves within a day.
Is there a money-back guarantee on both?
Yes, 30 days on shared hosting at both. SiteGround's terms also let it deduct the domain registration fee from a refund when the domain came with the plan.
