Where your site runs, and where the data stays
Every plan runs in one of three regions — EU-Central, US-East or US-West — and you pick yours at checkout. The choice decides how far a page travels to your visitors and whose jurisdiction holds the data; it does not decide what you pay.

What the region decides
Three things follow from the choice. The price is not one of them.
How far the page travels
A request from Berlin served out of EU-Central crosses a country; served out of US-West it crosses an ocean. Pick the region closest to the people who open the site.
Whose jurisdiction holds the data
On EU-Central your sites and their databases stay on EU hardware, under a contract with an Estonian company.
But not the price
A plan costs the same in EU-Central, US-East and US-West. There is no regional surcharge, and no cheaper region to be talked into.
What runs in each region
The hosting lines and VPS hosting are available in all three. Dedicated hardware is the exception, and it is worth asking about first.
Shared, WordPress, Reseller, OpenClaw
All four hosting lines run on the Enhance platform in all three regions. The region is a choice at checkout, not a different plan.
VPS hosting
The iS-series machines run in EU-Central, US-East and US-West; you pick the region when you order.
Dedicated servers
Rented in EU and US data centres. Which machine is available in which location changes, so ask before you order if the location is fixed for you.
If the data has to stay in the EU
Then the answer is EU-Central, and the contract behind it is with an Estonian company rather than an American one. That much we will put in writing; what we don't publish on a marketing page, we send you in a ticket.

Questions about regions
Which region should I pick?
The one closest to the people who open your site: EU-Central for a European audience, US-East or US-West by coast for North America. If the data has to stay in the EU, pick EU-Central whatever the audience. Three regions is the whole list — there is no Asian region today.
Does the region change the price?
No. A plan costs the same in all three regions, and it renews at the price you bought it at.
Where exactly are the data centres?
EU-Central, US-East and US-West are our own region names, and we don't publish the address of a rack. If you need the location and the operator for a compliance review, open a ticket and we will give them to you in writing.
Can I change region later?
It is a migration rather than a setting: the site is copied to the new region and the name is pointed at it afterwards. Tell support what you need and we will plan it — but it is easier to pick the right region at checkout.
